This provides comprehensive, official, worldwide coverage och official charts.<\/p>\n<h3>Purpose<\/h3>\n<p>Transas offers AVCS official charts to all customers with onboard non-Transas ECDIS.<\/p>\n<h3>Advantages<\/h3>\n<p>AVCS contains only ENC data that meets SOLAS Carriage Requirements for use within Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems (ECDIS).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC) is the official chart data compiled for ECDIS systems in accordance with SOLAS regulations. Before the ENCs can be presented in the ECDIS, they must be converted to the system\u2019s own internal format, which creates System Electronic Navigation Charts (SENC).<br \/>\nTransas performs the conversion to SENC before sending the data to the vessel.
